Ingredient - Preparation Method
1 pound ground beef -- browned, drained 1 cup chopped onions 1 can tomatoes -- chopped 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce 1 teaspoon salt 2 cups potatoes -- diced 1 clove garlic -- minced 10 ounces frozen corn -- thawed 10 ounces frozen peas -- thawed 1 large bell pepper -- cut in strips 1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded favorite buscuit recipe
Brown ground beef, onion, and half can tomatoes and garlic with Worcestershire sauce and salt, pepper if desired. I also added crispy fried bacon broken into pieces. Put into 3-quart casserole Layer the potatoes, flour, corn, peas, and green peppers on top of ground beef mixture. Add rest of the tomatoes and cheese. Cover and bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes. Sprinkle with the cheese and continue baking, uncovered, for 30 minutes longer. Add buscuits about the last 15 minutes.
NOTE: To reheat, place foil loosely over top and reheat in oven for about 20 minutes.
