Ingredient - Preparation Method
1 cake yeast 1 cup water -- warm 2 teaspoons salt 1 cup sugar 1 cup milk -- warm 1 cup flour 2 eggs 2/3 cup shortening
Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add salt, sugar, warm milk and flour. Let stand until light. Add eggs and shortening. Mix well. add flour enough to make soft dough. Let rise to double in bulk. Knead and let rise again, being careful not to work in too much flour. When light, shape buns and let rise to double in bulk. Bake in moderate oven 350 until light brown.
