Carrot Meatloaf with Zesty Topping

Ingredient - Preparation Method

3/4 cup milk
1 1/2 cups soft bread crumbs
2 lb. ground beef
2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 med. carrot -- grated
1/4 cup onion -- diced
2   eggs -- beaten
1/4 cup catsup
3 T. brown sugar
2 T. mustard


Pour milk over bread crumbs. Add ground beef, salt, papper, carrot, onion and eggs. Mix thoroughly. Pack into loaf pan. Mix remaining ingredients; spread over loaf. Bake 300 degrees for 1 1/2 hours to 1 hour 45 minutes. I baked this at 350 degrees for about an hour or a little longer.
